FREEX: PRESSURE

Malibu Comics Pin-up Art, FREEX, Pressure.  Pencil, Ink, Opaque Gouache, Colored Inks.

I created this illustration of Valerie Sharp, a.k.a. Pressure for the Freex title long ago.  I reckon Freex was Malibu Comics' answer to Marvel Comics' Uncanny X-Men, but with a creepier tone.  My friend Ben Herrera did some awesome art for that book.  Pressure struck me as a girl with a lot of attitude, as implied by her punk rocker look.  So, I tried to capture that attitude in the pin-up.
