THIEVES ON THE SITE
RantToday I discovered someone on the site who has RIPPED OFF an image of mine featuring THE IRON GIANT. I'm aware that this sort of thing happens all the time. The world is rife with people of disreputable character, and this site is no exception. It's a real shame when our creative community is infected by this brand of parasite.
This is the image in question, which I created as a professional assignment for Warner Bros:

I was not credited, nor was Warner Bros. And this person has made the swiped image available for print. This is illegal, and I am reporting it to site administration, and to Warner Bros legal department.
The offending party is CHRIS RAWLINS, and I wouldn't be surprised if he has done this sort of thing before with other artists. Be advised.
I hope this will serve as a lesson to any others who so blatantly demonstrate their gall, and stupidity.

Sorry to hear you fabulous skill has also fallen foul of the parasites....
In your case its so hard to protect the linework because he has re-worked it and even a watermark wouldn't have helped....
Hope you get a good response from both DA and legal....

It's sickening that so many art thieves reside on this site, and many of them are stealing from other Deviant ARTists. I try to report as many as I can, but I'm only one person.
It kills me to see those I watch go through these problems, but unfortunately, that is the price of fame these days.
