WB Animation Character Design, YOUNG JUSTICE, Mary West, Wally West. Pencil, digital color.

Unfortunately, this is yet another image from the show's "Cutting Room Floor." It was intended as a wall photo for an episode soon to air, but there simply wasn't enough time to complete the process in order to meet the deadline for our overseas studio. That's show biz, right?
The concept was totally my own, designing a bonus family photo that might logically appear in Wally West's home, a kindergarten graduation.

I gave little Wally a yellow dress shirt, and a red necktie as a foreshadowing wink at his Kid Flash future.

I love this picture. I'm so disappointed that Wally and a lot of the original cast weren't in the first episode of season two. I feel like young justice is going downhill like the rest of DC. I understand that this is in know way you're fault and please forgive me If I've offended you.
