YOUNG JUSTICE: INVASION: Sentinel of Poseidonis

In the Season Two episode titled, "The Fix," Miss Martian and Artemis attempt to psychically repair Aqualad's damaged mind. Inside Kaldur'ahm's head, M'Gann and Artemis encounter the fractured undersea world of Atlantis, a representative projection of the state of Kaldur'ahm's distress. As a part of the rebuilding process, M'Gann, Artemis, and Kaldur'ahm together affect the repair of a fallen statue, the Sentinel of Poseidonis, the first step on the road to Aqualad's restored mental health.

I rendered this design in two separate halves, while also providing a version where it is relatively whole. Researching the reference was a fascinating process, as I discovered some amazing examples of submerged sculptures from around the world. [link]
