WB Animation Character Design, YOUNG JUSTICE, G Gordon Godfrey. Pencil, Digital Color.

G. Gordon Godfrey appears in the Season Two opening episode, "Happy New Year." Godfrey hosts a television talk show, using his program to stir up controversy, and public paranoia.

I was directed to base Godfrey's design on the various loud-mouthed talk show hosts in American broadcasting, like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill Maher, and others. I wanted him to appear smug, and stentorian, with an underlying quality that makes you uneasy. This is a guy who wants you to trust him, but he's not at all likable.

These are my color selections, and they differ from that in the actual episode.

G. Gordon Godfrey is owned by WB Animation, and DC Comics.

Hearing Tim Curry was deffinitely one of the episodes highlights, and his voice totally fits the character you've drawn!

I was so happy they used Tim Curry to voice him. It made all his fear mongering not only bearable but awesome to listen to.
