Among the many mysterious clone creatures in the subterranean levels of the Cadmus Complex, Genomorph Gnomes are indispensable agents of communication, and mind control. They are grown to maturity very quickly in laboratory containers, until they are ready to serve the researchers working on the Super-secret projects at Cadmus.
The original design for the G-Gnomes was furnished by Phil Bourassa. It then fell to me to come up with a newly-formed version which retained sufficient creepy appeal.

I was never really clear what happened to the genomorphs in the Young Justice animated series. The end of season 1 could be interpreted as 'they're all dead' or 'they're knocked out and will be fine'.
