WB Marketing Art, The Scarecrow, THE WIZARD OF OZ.

Yet another of the collector's plates where I collaborated with the legendary illustrator, David Edward Byrd. Once again, this may not be the best showcase of the piece, being a badly scanned photocopy.

Like the other plates, I merely provided the black and white tonal study and likeness for the figure, not the background, composition or color.

Further to your comments on the Tin Man plate. Whoever put n the yellow brick road has never even seen a cobbled surface, I reckon. As a one time landscape gardener I can tell you that the delineated chunks of brick would never mesh together.
