SUPER BUGS BUNNY by Jerome-K-Moore SUPER BUGS BUNNY by Jerome-K-Moore
Unused WB Marketing Art. Bugs Bunny. Pencil, colored in Photoshop.

This piece was originally posted in its raw blue-pencil form. I decided to use it as practice for some Photoshop coloring.

The assignment back at WB was to render Bugs in a few suitably superheroic poses. The idea was to capitalize on the current popular trend in film to give comic book heroes the splashy spotlight. However, I felt it would be grossly out of character to eliminate too much of the humor (which is what they eventually did anyway).

Here, I obviously used Superman's motif as a template, and tossed in a little Batman, Wonder Woman, and X-Men.

Do you think you can use Alex Ross's artwork of Clark Kent changing into Superman and apply it to a new piece of Bugs Bunny changing into Super Rabbit? :D

I guess that might work. I didn't want to put him in full boots because that seemingly would look less stylish, and comical.
