WB Product Art, Devon and Cornwall, QUEST FOR CAMELOT. Pencil. The challenge and fun in rendering this character was in managing the two different-yet-merged personalities of prim Devon, and irascible Cornwall. The animators could accomplish in numerous drawings and frames of film what an illustrator must accomplish in a single illustration.
Another fun challenge was to adequately convey the characters girth and weight without the benefit of animated squash-and-stretch techniques. In a single drawing, too much squash or stretch, without fluid sequential movement, merely appears distorted and freakish.
Then you won't buy the T-shirt! lol

I'd buy it, lol. Great pic, Jerome. You did a heck of a job on the expressions and sense of movement... but I guess that's why you work for WB, huh? :)

Nice one. I have only seen once this movie (many years ago), but I still can remember those "two" characters. Very funny guys. :)
