WB Animation Character Design, SCOOBY-DOO AND THE LEGEND OF THE PHANTOSAUR. Phantosaur One. Pencil, digital color.

RrrrRRRRAWWWRRRRrrrrrr!!!
It was a fun challenge to draw this beastie as a dinosaur that never existed. I basically combined a Spinosaurus with a T-Rex. These colors are my own selections. Several designs were submitted, including a couple raptors. The project is a Direct-to-Video feature called SCOOBY-DOO: AND THE LEGEND OF THE PHANTOSAUR. It's-- like-- Wow! A real blast! How embarrassing! Especially, since I have a direct tie to Mogo that I cannot yet reveal. Heheh.

No problem!! After I made that comment, I read it over, and it sounded like I was phrasing Mogo like a website to find cheap hotel rates.

But that's really cool you get to work on multiple animated projects. Not that having a job isn't awesome, being able to do new stuff sounds pretty exciting.

If you hadn't of said Warner Bros, I would have held out hope for a Jurassic Park cartoon. Perhaps its for a new Xenozoic/ Cadillacs and Dinosaurs cartoon... or even Dino Riders :D

A Jurassic Park cartoon would be epic, if they could do it right. But the restrictions on that would severely limit the kind of cool carnage that a live-action feature could get away with.
