Just messin' around, learning to ink digitally. Very early attempt. I went for a more traditional, old-fashioned style for Supes. The old, barrel-chested variety with the wind-snapping cape, easily confident posture, and winning smile. This is the primary image of Superman in my mind... inspired by the art of the legendary Man of Steel artists Joe Shuster, Wayne Boring, Curt Swan, and the masterful animation of the Max Fleischer Studios shorts.
There are a couple more in my scraps gallery, I think

"Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed... Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death."
Not a big fan of Supes..but hey! When he's got that winning smile what can I girl do?

Hmm... Interesting how Superman is viewed as a Christian allegory, yet his creators were Jewish.
Of course, some regard him more along the lines of Moses, being preserved from destruction. But I think the Christ parallels are undeniable.

Oh, my avatar? There's no real significance behind it. I have heard the Moses/Jesus arguement, and I don't buy either side's theory, Superman for me is about hope, no matter where you find it.... but for this, I just seen a neat picture of Jesus.

For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
