WB Marketing Art, Hungarian Horntail, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. Pencil.
I thought the digital effect of this fierce dragon was phenomenal, building off of the cinematic achievement of "Reign Of Fire," and the previous generation's "Dragonslayer" (I wasn't too pleased with "DragonHeart," or "Eragon."). The actual model of the Horntail was equally impressive, with such brilliant detail. For the not-too-jaded, I imagine coming in to work every morning at the effects shop at Leavesden Film Studios must have been a shock and a thrill to see that beastie waiting there. Rarrrrr! |
