Unused WB Product Art, Hermione, HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS. Pencil.
Having mistakenly used a hair from Millicent Bulstrode's cat as an ingredient for her Polyjuice Potion, Hermione transforms into a feline facsimile. This was a tough illustration to pull off. It was impossible to prevent Hermione from looking frighteningly horrific, especially with the requisite shocked expression.
Since the book never specified that her hands had also transformed to cat's paws, I was able to leave her hands human, and add more expression.
Oh well... It never got used anyway. lol
