HAS: DRUFFS

In the second season episode entitled, "A Druff Is Enough," A-Bomb makes the mistake of bringing one of these mischievous creatures aboard the team's spacecraft.  Needless to say, chaos ensues.

There was a bit of a runaround in designing the Druffs.  Whereas I had my own ideas, so did the show's very creative producer.  After the initial direction was overturned by Marvel execs for being too much of a departure from the comic book iteration, we returned to my original concepts, with a few tweaks.  Of course, this all cost precious time, and I admit it was quite frustrating for me.  At any rate, I learned some things from the experience.  Here I present some roughs (featuring some of the design variations, and expressions), as well as some playfully polished samples completed long after the fact, for my portfolio.
These are my specific color selections, and they do not match the final screen version.
